Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage performer who's largely limited to TV sitcoms. She first got a breakthrough in the medium as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a season which aired on ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone was on stage in her first performance at age five in Detroit after her family relocated from St Louis. She had performed in over 50 plays by the age of 23, mostly the regional theatres and productions at universities. Some of her stage performances included Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday after the Miracle" and also the role of Agnes the young, tormented nun in "Agnes of God." The year 1987 was the first time she had the role in a film named "Ricochet". She also played a character in "The Roseary Murders". Also in 1996, Barone played the main character in an uninvolved romantic comedy entitled "Just Friends". Barone was the first to get a notable Hollywood role as part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - the ill-fated attempt by Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone appeared in "Wounded Heart" the 1995 USA Network film. She returned to weekly sitcoms, co-starring in "Daddio", NBC 2000 and alongside Michael Chiklis. Anita Anita Anita
